Stereotypically well known for country music, rodeos, long flat drives, and petrol industries, it is also a fantastic place for great hiking, exploring and winter sports.
Alberta also has Canada's greatest provincial concentration of politically conservative/right-wing inclined folks.

- Go camping -- Alberta's got tons of camping sites (open during the summertime only)
- Great Hiking (See Moose, Elk, and Bison North West of Calgary): Banff National Park, Lake Louise (Dog Sledding in Winter), Jasper Area, Edmonton Elk Island National Park,
- See the breathtaking Hoodoos of the Badlands and have a drink (and play shuffle board) at the Last Chance Saloon
- Discover the Dinosaur Park and DrumHeller
- Indoor Attractions: Edmonton's West Edmonton Mall
- Great Festivals : Calgary's Rodeo (July)
